Theresa never smiled because she didnt like the looks of her teeth. Not only did she have congenitally missing lateral incisors, but she also had a retained deciduous cuspid on her left side. With her permanent cuspids moved to the lateral incisor position and her midline deviating to her right, this created quite a compromise when she smiled.

Although a complicated smile to begin with, the rehabilitation of her mouth was quite simple. Nine upper veneers were placed to correct the shape of her teeth and improve the midline discrepancy. Her lower teeth were fine and simple bleaching allowed a match of a whiter shade than would have previously been acceptable.

Theresa is very happy and smiles all the time. In her words, I am now able to smile truly and with confidence, making me look my best. I find I am more outgoing and willing to talk with people. For her, this was a life changing event.
